Civil War Tour Packages

2011 marks the 150th Anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War. The Holladay House, a pre-Civil War structure (ca. 1830), was witness to skirmishes and daily war life over the entire 4 years of the struggle. Of special note was a wedding held here in February 1864 where notables such as Major Generals JEB Stuart and Brig General Perry attended until 4am! Time spent here and touring will offer an opportunity to gain insights into those turbulent times with a unique Civil War tour experience.

There are 3 tours from which to choose. All touring and activities will be conducted by expert and engaging local historians. All details of the package are planned so you may spend your time soaking in the knowledge and stories of the area of that era. The Civil War Tour Packages are:
